SPECIMSpectral.jpgSpectral Imaging Ltd. has launched AisaEaglet, a hyperspectral imaging airborne sensor designed for small aircraft and unmanned aerial vehicles. It also is suitable for use in ground-based applications. It acquires full contiguous data in the visible and near-IR region (400 to 1000 nm) at a rate of 100 push-broom images per second. The progressive-scan CCD camera delivers 1600-pixel spatial resolution and high sensitivity in low-light conditions. An image-acquisition computer and software are supplied. Applications include environmental monitoring, forestry, and security and defense.
