The Laser TIRF 3 microscope system from Carl Zeiss Ltd. enhances scientists’ ability to visualize near-cell membrane dynamic processes while maintaining optimum specimen conditions, including a range of incubation options to maintain viability for live-cell experiments. Combined with a proprietary Definite Focus module, the microscope, which may be operated entirely from the AxioVision software interface, enables users to gather accurate quantitative data over long periods. It can be equipped with up to four solid-state lasers, and it is controlled by an acousto-optical tunable filter. Available in two versions, it is suitable for applications including life sciences, biochemistry, molecular biology and biophysics.
