GigahertzOptik.jpgThe latest integrating sphere light source from Gigahertz-Optik Inc., the 80-mm-diameter model ISS-8K-100-VAHP, is made from ODM98 optically diffuse material. Within 90% of the 19-mm-diameter light output port area, it offers ≥98% uniformity and white-diffuse reflectance throughout the visible and near-infrared spectral range. The combination of a 100-W quartz halogen lamp, variable aperture and interchangeable OD0, OD1 or OD2 attenuator enables output signal level step control from 0.1 to 100,000 cd/m2 with minimal colour temperature drift. To ensure lamp life and system stability, it is supplied with a fan to air-cool only the lamp socket.
