The Spectra-Physics Lasers Div. of Newport Corp. has introduced three ProLite Xt fibre-coupled diode laser products based on proprietary advancements in bar design, mini-bar design and beam shaping technology. The high-brightness Corvus fibre-coupled arrays offer power up to 575 W and are suitable for applications that require wavelengths from 790 to 980 nm. The Orion fibre-coupled mini bar is available with output power up to 25 W at 915-, 940- and 976-nm wavelengths, and up to 15 W from 808 to 810 nm. Featuring output power up to 60 W from 790 to 980 nm, the Prosario is configurable with fibre diameters ranging from 400 to 800 μm. It is suitable for solid-state laser pumping, direct diode materials processing, medical systems, and life and health sciences applications.
