Intevac.jpgIntevac Inc. has released the MicroVista-UV, a camera with a back-thinned CMOS for ultraviolet imaging. The camera has 100% fill factor, proprietary antireflection coatings and a focal plane array with a 1280 × 1024 format with a 10.8-μm pixel pitch. The device also offers high quantum efficiency at UV wavelengths (180 to 300 nm). It supports 30 fps and offers full-frame digital readout via Camera Link. It is designed for end-user and OEM applications, including general UV microscopy and medical imaging.
