Intevac.jpgIntevac Inc. has unveiled the MicroVista-NIR, a back-thinned CMOS device camera optimized for NIR imaging. The device features a 1280 × 1024-pixel format with a 10.8-μm-pixel pitch, high quantum efficiency at NIR wavelengths (700 to 1000 nm) and 100% fill factor; it supports 30 fps. Exposure times range from 20 μs to 10 s. Software support includes National Instruments’ IMAQ and LabView. Applications include biometrics, NIR microscopy, and general low-light NIR, medical and hyperspectral imaging.
