CascadeTech.jpgCascade Technologies Ltd. has introduced its LS-03-D quantum cascade laser driver, a tunable pulsed mid-IR laser system with a resolution of 0.01 cm–1 and maximum power output of 100 mW. Tunable from 4.42 to 10.38 μm, the device emits pulses <1-μs wide and from 10 ns to 5 μs in length. Incorporating a USB connection, a cooling unit and drivers for integration into experiments, the system is suitable for biomarker detection and for drug development applications.
