Prior Scientific Ltd. introduces its NZ100 and NZ200 NanoScan piezo focusing stage inserts, capable of creating images in the Z-axis with nanometer precision at 50 fps. With a maximum travel of 100 μm, the NZ100 is suitable for many live-cell imaging applications. The NZ200 allows 200-μm travel to facilitate analysis of thicker samples. Sold as stand-alone devices for manual stages, the inserts are also available preconfigured for motorized stages from Prior and other manufacturers. Standard imaging software packages, data acquisition cards and PCI controllers allow direct control of the products.
