The Micra-10 from Coherent Inc. is a one-box Ti:sapphire oscillator with an integrated Verdi green solid-state pump laser. It delivers more than 750 mW of broadband output power and offers an adjustable spectral bandwidth of < 30 to >75 nm, which can be externally compressed to produce pulses in the 10- to 15-fs range. Other features include low noise, a compact footprint, center wavelength tunability, long-term stability and PowerTrack active optimization. Part of the Micra family, it is compatible with a suite of accessories and options, including pulse shaping and compression, radio-frequency synchronization and carrier-envelope phase stabilization. The device is suitable for research applications such as high-harmonic generation, terahertz imaging, optical coherence tomography and time-resolved spectroscopy.
