Spectrum Detector Inc. has announced a family of analog and digital radiometric instruments that feature pyroelectric, silicon and germanium detectors. They are designed to measure radiant flux from picowatts to watts, DC to 10 MHz and the UV to the far-IR. The design includes interchangeable detector components and optical accessories. The analog models operate on 9-V batteries or DC wall power, and the digital models are powered over a USB connection. Radiometric applications software is included.
