Avantes.jpgThe AvaSpec-2048x14 back-thinned CCD fiber optic spectrometer from Avantes BV with a symmetrical Czerny-Turner optical bench design and a 75-mm focal length operates at a data transfer speed of 2.24 ms/scan and offers a 65% maximum quantum efficiency when operated between 200 and 300 nm. The device includes USB2 and RS-232 interfaces, an onboard processor and memory, four analog and 15 digital input/output ports, and a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter. It is suitable for low-light, UV and fluorescence applications.
