Photometrix.jpgThe Tissuescope II manufactured by Biomedical Photometrics Inc. features proprietary and patented panoramic Macroscope technology to produce a high-resolution digital image of tissue specimens in a single scan. The resulting virtual slide is stored in a single digital file, enabling low- and high-resolution images of the specimen to be easily displayed, manipulated, distributed and interpreted. The device allows simultaneous acquisition of four fluorophores. It images samples in reflection, transmission and phase contrast and scans at pixel resolutions from 0.25 to 100 μm.
