Cynosure.jpgThe Cynergy workstation by Cynosure Inc. incorporates both a pulsed dye laser and a high-powered 1064-nm Nd:YAG for treating vascular and benign pigmented lesions, including scars, warts, leg veins, hemangiomas, port-wine stains and age spots. The device incorporates the company’s MultiPlex dual-wavelength system to lessen treatment time. The pulsed dye laser has a pulse width of 0.5 to 40 ms and a maximum repetition rate of 2 Hz. The Nd:YAG laser has a pulse width of 0.3 to 300 ms and a maximum repetition rate of 5 Hz. The 40 × 18 × 31-in. workstation weighs 270 lb.
