Craic Technologies Inc. has introduced the UVM-2, a UV-VIS-NIR microscope and microimaging system with a spectral range of 250 to 2000 nm. The instrument performs transmittance and reflectance microimaging and can achieve submicron resolutions. It offers many magnifications because of the large number of available objectives and requires little sample preparation. It also works nondestructively and can image both narrow bands and a wide spectral range. Optional are UV-VIS-NIR light sources and high-resolution UV, color and near-IR imaging systems.
