BioTek Instruments Inc.’s Gen5 microplate data analysis software, version 1.02, provides data reduction tools, including a five-parameter logistic fit, several weighting options and curve constraint definition. New curve metrics include 95% confidence intervals, sum of squares and degrees of freedom. Several experiment and protocol files have been added, and users can create their own protocols. Custom summary results or data reduction steps may be quickly printed or exported for one-step documentation of all experimental parameters. Compatible with Windows Vista, the software is available in various editions, including one that is compliant with 21 CFR Part 11.
