Steinmeyer.jpgSteinmeyer Inc. has unveiled the PMT160-DC single-axis positioning stage with an overall height of only 40 mm. The total travel ranges from 50 to 300 mm in each direction, and the stage can handle forces up to 200 N. Depending on the model chosen, the weights range from 3.7 to 6.5 kg, and the flatness ranges from 0.5 to 4 μm. The stage provides a positional accuracy of 10 to 20 μm and repeatability of 0.5 μm, and it can reach speeds up to 50 mm/s and accelerations up to 0.5 m/s2.
