Nanomotion Inc. has unveiled a series of ceramic servo motors designed for durability and reliability. The DuraMotor products offer improved materials for the motor tip and the drive strip. The company says that the motors provide high levels of cleanliness and motor life with low particle generation. They are available in the standard configurations of HR1-, 2-, 4- and 8-element motors, and are offered with a selection of standard drive strips and disks. They support linear, rotary (axial) and tilt applications and are applicable for high-speed motion profiles.
