The Argos model 2400 from Aculight Corp. is a single-frequency, CW optical parametric oscillator for mid-infrared spectroscopy, laser sensing and laser surgery. The device provides up to 3 W of idler output that is continuously tunable from 2.3 to 4.4 μm with a maximum tuning rate of 300 Hz across the full tuning range and a mode-hop-free tuning range of 60 GHz. The signal output ranges from 1.4 to 2.0 μm. The device has an M2 beam quality of <1.1, a linewidth of <1 MHz for both the signal and idler, and power stability of <5% rms.
