Measuring 44 × 44 × 56 mm, the Lm series CCD cameras are suitable for industrial and scientific applications involving space constraints and low-light conditions. Available from Lumenera Corp., they feature adjustable 8- or 12-bit conversion, three software-configurable bidirectional I/O ports, and a single USB 2.0 connection for data transfer, camera control and power supply. The Lm165 and Lm135 models, both 1.4 megapixel cameras, differ in terms of sensitivity. The Lm075 transmits image data in VGA quality via the USB port. The flexibility to increase the frame rate is provided by binning and programmable restriction to regions of interest. Drivers are DirectShow- and DirectX-compatible and can be integrated into Windows 98, SE, ME, 2000 and XP applications. A software development kit is available.
