XenICs has introduced the Cheetah near-IR digital camera, which is available in models that have frame rates of 60, 400 or 1750 Hz. Utilizing an InGaAs detector that provides 640 × 512-pixel resolution, the camera captures images at wavelengths of 0.9 to 1.7 μm and offers a pixel pitch of 20 μm and a pixel availability of >98%. It has up to 16-GB internal memory, which enables a recording time of almost 15 s. The camera features nonuniformity correction to reduce noise, and its exposure time is adjustable from 1 μs to 3 ms.
