XenICs has added the Xeva-FPA-2.5-320 digital, software-configurable camera to its line of NIR imaging systems. The compact device uses a 320 × 256-pixel HgCdTe sensor array for the IR wavelength range of 0.85 to 2.5 μm. Pixel pitch is 30 μm with pixel availability of >98%. The array features four-stage thermoelectrical cooling down to 200 K. Its cooling time of <300 s and its anticondensing construction enable relatively fast start-up. The camera is available in 60- and 100-Hz frame rate versions and has a 14-bit total dynamic range. It operates from a single 12-V 5-A power supply, and the camera head interfaces to a personal computer via Camera Link. It is fitted with a frontplate for spectrometer fixation and an adapter for C-mount optical lenses.
