PicoQuant GmbH has launched version 2.0 of the programmer’s library for the PicoHarp 300 time-correlated single-photon counting system. It supports simultaneous use of multiple PicoHarp systems and multidetector routing. It can provide picosecond coincidence correlations for single-molecule spectroscopy. Of importance to users of laser-scanning microscopes, the library synchronizes the four external inputs accommodated by each PicoHarp system, allowing for FLIM at many resolutions and sizes. Synchronization rates can be as fast as 80 MHz, but they can be slowed down for Tof or OTDR applications. The library supports LabView, C/C++, Delphi, Visual Basic and Matlab.
