Photonics Industries has developed a high-power, Q-switched, UV Nd:YAG laser that can produce more than 5 W TEM00 mode at an average power of 355 nm. The pulse repetition rate can be controlled through a transistor-transistor logic signal or internal pulse generator from single shot to 50 kHz. The laser head measures 18 x 13 x 56 cm and can deliver outputs at 355, 532 and 1064 nm. It is suitable for laser marking, hole drilling, micromachining and optical parametric oscillator pumping.
