Princeton_Instruments.jpgPrinceton Instruments has released the PI-Max 3, an intensified CCD (ICCD) camera for time-resolved imaging and spectroscopy applications. It offers readout ranging from video rates to thousands of frames per second. Delivering a sustained gating repetition rate of 1 MHz, it has a built-in timing generator that can store a sequence of gate delays and widths to generate time vs. intensity data. It features photocathode cooling for ultralow-light or single-photon imaging as well as special readout modes for single-shot measurements and particle imaging velocimetry applications.
