Rad-icon Imaging Corp. has extended its product line of very large area digital CMOS x-ray cameras with the SkiaGraph10 EV. With a total active sensing area of 8 × 10 in., it delivers real-time imaging at up to 1.4 fps with 12- or 14-bit digital contrast resolution. It supports x-ray energies up to 160 kVp and features low power consumption. It offers a choice of scintillators that provide high sensitivity. The larger panels enable medical radiologists and industrial inspectors to image proportionally larger subjects in a field where images cannot be reduced by optical coupling.
