Fluorescence Detection

Jan 2010
Vertilon Corp.Request Info
Vertilon Corp. has introduced the SIB232 sensor interface board for fluorescence detection applications using the Hamamatsu H7260 multianode photomultiplier tube (PMT). In conjunction with the proprietary PhotoniQ data acquisition system, the board can simultaneously capture the 32 channels of high-speed, low-level fluorescence events detected by the H7260. The company’s latest circuitry for preamplification and discrimination of the PMT’s last dynode signal enables the fluorescence event itself to generate the trigger for data collection, without an external signal. Applications include flow cytometry, confocal microscopy and bioaerosol detection.
