Go!Foton’s Selfoc μ-fluorescence photometer, the FLE1000, has 1-nm sensitivity or lower and is available in red, green, blue and UV wavelengths. Housed in a compact body, it can be used as a stand-alone detector or integrated into other instruments, including automatic DNA analyzers and measuring instruments such as high-performance liquid chromatography and flow cytometers. Working in ambient light, the fiber optic device is portable and vibration-resistant and requires sample sizes of 0.2 mm or less. It enables simultaneous measurements and can be customized for environmental monitors that test for trace amounts of contaminants or pathogens in air and water.
