InfiniiMax III Probing System

SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 28, 2010 — Agilent Technologies Inc. has released the InfiniiMax III oscilloscope probing system with a bandwidth of 30 GHz.

The four new probe amplifier models feature bandwidths from 16 to 30 GHz. The range of probe heads allow connection using a browser, zero insertion force (ZIF) tip, 2.92- or 3.5-mm SMA cable or solder-in tips.

Additionally, it is the most accurate real-time oscilloscope measurement system with the Infiniium 90000 x-series oscilloscopes; the fastest full-featured sampling oscilloscope probing solution to 30 GHz with the Infiniium 86100X DCA-J; and the first probing investment protection with bandwidth upgradability on probe amplifiers from 16 to 30 GHz, according to the company.

The oscilloscopes can be used to capture fast, single-shot events and to make critical measurements like jitter, while ensuring compliance to industry standards for interoperability.
