iSCANDalsa Corp. has released the Spyder small-body line-scan camera that targets space-constrained industrial applications including pick-and-place, lead inspection and semiconductor wafer alignment. The camera, which has a 40-MHz data rate, line rates up to 70 kHz and one-third the physical volume of Dalsa's previous line-scan cameras, is available with 512-, 1024- and 2048-pixel resolutions. Standard features include antiblooming, exposure control and user-defined data rate, gain and binning; a single voltage input is optional. Measuring 50 x 50 x 88 mm and weighing less than 300 g, the Spyder is suitable for space-limited machine vision applications.
