Olympus Life and Material Science Europa GmbH has released the BX45, part of the BX2 family of clinical microscopes. So that routine microscopists do not have to tilt their heads, the microscope has an 80-mm-longer tube that can be tilted and extended, and additional intermediate tubes can raise it even higher. It employs the company’s UIS2 optics and is available in two versions, producing inverted or upright images
