The QuantaMax fluorescence filter sets from Omega Optical Inc. have “energetic process” coatings that are durable, spectrally stable and insensitive to moisture. Offering zero pixel shift, they feature a multisubstrate air-spaced assembly that provides protection from handling and mechanical abrasion during laboratory use. The high-throughput sets are designed with deep blocking to the limits of CCD detection at 1500 nm on both the excitation and emission filters, resulting in a high signal-to-noise ratio. They are suitable for fluorescence microscopy applications, including confocal, multiphoton and live-cell experiments, particularly where photons are scarce and exposure times are important. Their color space designs capture maximum color energy.
