Available from Bruker Daltonics, an operating company of Bruker BioSciences Corp., the autoflex III smartbeam vertical Maldi-Tof or Tof/Tof mass spectrometer is suitable for expression and quantitative proteomics, and for peptide/protein biomarker discovery, identification and validation. The mass spectrometer’s laser allows variable repetition rates from 1 to 200 Hz, with a computer-controlled adjustable laser focus. It uses panoramic technology to provide mass resolution over a broad mass range. The spectrometer is included in Bruker Daltonics’ solution packages, such as ClinProt, MALDI Molecular Imager, Proteineer and Proteineer LC.
