Aug 2006
Newport CorporationRequest Info
Newport Corp. has introduced protected gold broadband mirrors to its line of metallic mirrors. They are suitable for scientific research as well as aerospace and defense applications that use near- to far-infrared wavelengths, and, according to the company, they provide a reflected beam with less scatter and good wavefront quality. The mirrors are available round or elliptical, on Pyrex or Zerodur substrates, and for 650- to 2000-nm wavelengths. Available surface flatness ranges from λ/2 to λ/20, and surface quality, from 40-20 to 10-2 scratch-dig.
