Omega Optical Inc. has introduced 10 filter sets
for Förster resonance energy transfer (FRET) and fluorescence lifetime imaging
applications. Each set comprises an excitation, a dichroic and a pair of emission
filters. Among the sets are the XF158 for blue and yellow fluorescent proteins,
the XF159 for blue fluorescent protein and for DsRed2, and the XF160 for CoralHue
Midoriishi cyan and Kusabira orange proteins.
