FluoroVette Flowcells from ALine Inc. are low-volume disposable cuvettes for nanomolar-range fluorescence detection in solutions. An alternative to quartz cuvettes, they hold 50 μl of fluid and transmit UV radiation to 220 nm. The CFV-PIP-SP type has inlet and outlet ports at the top for loading the sample with a pipetter. The CFV-PUMP-SP has tubing barbs at both ports for connecting to a pump for flow studies. FluoroVettes can be used with most standard fluorometers or as part of the company’s fluorescence spectrometer setup. Applications include real-time monitoring of biological or chemical agents, quantitation of double-stranded DNA and Elisa assay development.
