Phenom-World BV has announced the launch of a new software product,
the Phenom Pro Suite, whose applications expand the functionality of the microscope
by automated collection of images, visualization of samples in 3-D, measurement
of surface roughness, and automated fiber analysis. Automated image mapping software
enables users to collect multiple images in a regular grid from the desktop scanning
electron microscope. It will create a larger field of view or a high-resolution
image map. The remote user interface enables access to the microscope from a different
location. The user can control the microscope and all its common features, image
the sample, and acquire images and store them on a USB, network location or local
hard drive.
