Airex Corp.’s P3 Series plug-and-play linear motor positioning stages offer design features to handle the high-duty-cycle operations required in competitive precision manufacturing environments. The stages provide 5-m/s velocity, 10-g acceleration, microsecond settling times and 25-μm straightness of travel. The four models are rated to a 25-kg load and produce 100-μm/m linear accuracy and 125- to 1000-mm travel. Combining precision and performance, they are suitable for a range of demanding applications, including DNA processing, automatic optical inspection, ink-jet printing, laser scribing and packaging. They also are suitable for use in electronic assembly and test, cutting on the fly, paper converting, imaging scanning, photonics, life sciences, semiconductors, high-speed automation and large-format printing.
