UVP LLC’s iBox Explorer fluorescence imaging microscope is for rapid high-resolution analysis of fluorescently tagged cells, tissues, organs and whole animals in the visible and near-IR wavelengths. The third in a line of in vivo systems, it offers real-time fluorescence imaging that can speed up basic and preclinical research studies of tumors and of heart and metabolic diseases. The instrument can micro-image cells and organs subcutaneously and within the body cavity of living mice. It operates through intuitive software control, using parcentered and parfocal optical configurations to enable seamless imaging through the magnification ranges. Applications include imaging whole organs, tumor/host margins and interactions, tumor microenvironment, vasculature and micrometastases.
