Endicott Research Group Inc. has announced LED drivers with new package configurations that offer footprint compatibility with, and drop-in replacements for, its existing cold cathode fluorescent lamp inverter designs. Using its experience in LCD backlight power supplies, the company has created a series of LED driver boards designed in the same form factor as DC-AC inverters already in the field. These replacements allow for a fast and easy upgrade to LED lighting without redesigning or retooling the mounting hardware. The LED drivers are pin-for-pin compatible with the inverters and have the same length and width dimensions as well as matching mounting holes. Available now are the first three LED driver boards in a 10-part series.
