Antireflection Coatings

Photonics Spectra
May 2011
Adimec Electronic Imaging Inc.Request Info
Adimec Advanced Image Systems bv has announced enhanced antireflection (AR) coatings for its Quartz camera series. The offerings improve the quality and accuracy of the cameras by reducing reflection to as little as 0.25% of the light beams processed by the sensor. Standard AR coatings delivered with off-the-shelf sensors typically provide protection levels of 2% of light at bandwidth ranges of 400 to 700 nm, while the new coatings consistently achieve sub-0.5% protection at bandwidths of 400 to 900 nm. Based on proprietary True Accurate Imaging technology, the coatings are available in single and multilayer configurations, with protection levels ranging from 2% to 0.25%, depending upon the bandwidth required.
