PerkinElmer Inc. has launched the Frontier Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer for applications ranging from everyday measurements to complex analyses. The IR spectroscopy platform can be adapted to customers’ research requirements. Multiple near- to far-IR analyses can be conducted using a single instrument. The configurable device can be expanded as research goals develop. Offering many optimized sampling options, its optical flexibility enables the addition of specialized accessories to meet a variety of sampling challenges, whether checking for batch conformity or microcontamination. A modular and upgradable platform combined with a good signal-to-noise ratio assures optimal spectral performance for near-, mid- and far-IR spectroscopic analysis. Multiple techniques can be used at the touch of a button.
