BARRINGTON, N.J., June 3, 2011 — Edmund Optics has introduced the TechSpec crossed roller bearing preassembled Z-axis translation stages with bracket for off-the-shelf use in a variety of applications requiring Z-axis movement.

The stages provide high accuracy and good rigidity. Because they are preassembled, they save the customer configuration time, offering convenience and ease of use. They can be integrated with TechSpec linear stages to make an X-Z stage or an X-Y-Z stage assembly. They are available in 30-, 40-, 70- and 125- mm sizes.

For maximum flexibility, models are offered with a choice of center or side drive, English or metric configuration, and solid tabletop or through-hole versions.

They are in stock and available for immediate delivery.
