Toshiba Imaging Systems Div. has introduced its IK-HD1 and IK-HR1H cameras. The IK-HD1 is a compact three-CCD camera with a remote head that measures 1.6 in. and weighs 2.3 oz. It delivers clear true-color imagery with 1920 x 1080 output at 30 fps. It has an RS-232C serial interface and features automatic and manual white balance. Optional accessories include 3-, 6-, 10- and 30-m cables, and a 4- or 15-mm lens. It is used in scientific imaging, diagnostics, homeland security, industrial video and inspection applications. The IK-HR1H is a 1/3-in. progressive-scan CMOS high-definition camera with an ultrasmall remote head that measures 1.18 x 1.37 x 1.41 in. Features include automatic and manual white balance, and automatic and manual electronic shutter.
