The MVS-8100C from Cognex Corp. is a high-performance, application-specific PCI frame grabber for acquiring and displaying color images. It provides real-time image transfer to the host PC for analysis, and its RGB color display enables operators to monitor inspection of colored parts. For color applications, images can be acquired with a single RGB camera or two multiplexed RGB cameras; for monochrome applications, the board can support up to four multiplexed RS-170 cameras.
