lDIODERofin-Sinar Laser GmbH introduces the 1500-W Rofin DL 015S diode laser. It can focus to a spot measuring 1.2 x 1.2 mm, making it practical to incorporate the laser into a 1.5-mm-diameter fiber optic beam delivery system. The DL Series lasers are available in powers from 750 to 2500 W and are suitable for hardening applications that require spot sizes from 4 to 15 mm. The compact lasers have a diode lifetime of more than 10,000 h.
