BARCELONA, Spain, June 7, 2012 — Monocrom has expanded its X-series with the X532CW500, a compact diode-pumped solid-state laser module with an optical power output >500 mW at 532 nm.

The robust and reliable green laser has a planar design, a narrow linewidth and integrated electronics. It is intended mainly for lighting applications and can operate in extreme environments, making it suitable for use as a dazzler for defense applications, and for the aeronautics, space and automotive industries.
