SuperGamut Wavelength Measurement System
BaySpec Inc.Request Info
SAN JOSE, Calif., June 19, 2012 — The SuperGamut wavelength measurement system manufactured by BaySpec Inc. performs low-light spectral measurements of high-speed light sources from the UV to the near-infrared region. Based on the company’s in-house gratings, spectrometer designs can be customized for specific wavelength regions of interest. Optimal cooling of the detector arrays improves the signal-to-noise ratio.
Devices that can be measured include ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared LEDs; superluminescent LEDs; OLEDs; narrowband diode, tunable and fiber lasers; supercontinuum sources; and incandescent, electroluminescent, gas discharge, halogen and fluorescent lamps.
Customizable wavelengths range from 190 to 2500 nm. The NIST-calibrated system features a high-throughput volume phase grating-based design, real-time spectral data acquisition, long-lifetime operation, thermoelectric cooling and a USB interface.
The system can be combined with a fiber optic bundle and integrating sphere for accurate and precise measurements. Spec2020 software is provided at no additional cost, and SDK/DLL support for OEM integration is available.
