KRAILLING, Germany, June 19, 2012 — With the release of the Nanio 532-10-V-20, InnoLas Laser GmbH provides a laser for today’s demanding micromachining applications. Pulse energies of more than 500 µJ and pulse widths as small as 12 ns open new opportunities in applications such as glass cutting for smartphone and tablet displays.

Ceramics and carbon fiber compounds also can be processed with the device, in quality levels that previously have been achieved only by picosecond lasers. There is no need for adaptation or recalibration when changing laser heads.

Features include a fully detachable laser head and power supply, field-replaceable pump diode modules, a variable external attenuator, constant pulse energy mode and a multicircuit chiller that enables use of up to four lasers on just one chiller.
