XER-W75 Super Xenon Test Chamber
Nov 2012

MENTOR, Ohio, Nov. 4, 2012 — EYE Lighting International of North America Inc. has announced the XER-W75 Super Xenon Solar/Weather durability test chamber to provide a single system that complies with global automotive, textile, plastics, paint and other material test standards.

It yields results correlated to true outdoor exposure conditions. Its proprietary high-output xenon lamp and filter assembly provides good spectral compliance with natural sunlight, and “shower” and “day/night” cycles assure natural exposure effects. The programmable touch-screen setup manages all weather parameters and cycle functions to ensure repeatable test results and test efficiency in the development of new products.

The system complies with common ASTM, ISO, JIS and JASO global standards for testing paints, plastics and textiles. Additional options allow the system to comply with specific ISO/JASO automotive tests for accelerated weathering and exposure to artificial radiation.

It increases testing productivity through interchangeable sample frames, standard high capacity and optional high intensity.

Data collection and analysis are obtained through the built-in data logger. A removable memory card allows simple transfer of data to Microsoft Excel and other common analysis programs.
