Single-Mode High-Power SWIR Lasers

PEABODY, Mass., Nov. 5, 2012 — In response to customer requests, SemiNex Corp. is offering high-power single-mode lasers in wavelengths throughout the short-wavelength infrared region, including 1310, 1550 and 1625 nm. Output powers are up to 700 mW.

The laser diodes are used in applications including real-time optical time-domain reflectometry, remote sensing, illumination, and light detection and ranging.

The company is producing B- and C-mounted lasers, with other packaging and mounting options available.
